The Missouri baseball team is the four-seed in this year’s Big 12 Conference Tournament and will face Oklahoma in its first round game Wednesday. The Tigers wrapped up their regular season last weekend by taking two-of-three from Baylor, which was in first place in the conference before the series. MU knocked the Bears out of the top-seed in the tournament.

Head coach Tim Jamieson has led the Tigers to NCAA Regional births in each of the last two seasons and they made it all the way to the title game of the 2004 Big 12 Tournament. He thinks their attitude is much different coming into this year’s conference tourney.

“I there’s an air of confidence; I think it’s a team that they can win any game,” Jamieson said.

The Tigers enter the tournament with a record of 37-19. In their first round game, the Tigers will face Oklahoma, who they beat two out of three times in the regular season.
