The Missouri Tigers suffered their first shut out of the season in a 7-0 loss to Southern Illinois in O’Fallon, Illinois on Tuesday. The Salukis jumped on the Tigers a little at a time. They scored a run in the first and it remained 1-0 until the they scored again in the fourth to make it 2-0. MU allowed another run in the fifth, two in the sixth and two more in the eighth.

The Tigers were held to just four hits in the wood bat game, as they dropped to 34-18 on the season. Mizzou, which is ranked as high 20th in the national rankings this week, will face Illinois in O’Fallon today. This weekend they head to Waco, Texas for a regular season-ending series with Baylor.
