The fired principal at St. Louis Riverview Gardens High School wants to give out diplomas to 175 seniors who will be graduating soon. Principal Clem Ukaoma was fired in April. His dismissal triggered walkouts by hundreds of students. Ukaoma’s lawyer has told the school board that its statements after Ukaoma’s firing have defamed him. Ukaoma wants a public hearing by May 25th to discuss the job performance issues that led to his ouster.
