The Springfield Cardinals won for the fourth time in six games last night. The Cardinals blasted three home runs in a 6-4 win over Corpus Christi. Jordan Pals became the first pitcher in team history to hit a home run by blasting a two-run shot in the second inning. He also picked up his first career Double-A win. Travis Hanson belted his fourth home run of the season for Springfield, a solo shot in the first. Reid Gorecki later hit his third homer of the year. The Cardinals are now 12-16 on the season.
