The 14th ranked Missouri baseball team fell 6-1 to top ranked Texas Sunday. The Longhorns got five runs on the board in the first inning and cruised from there. Starting pitcher Doug Mathis lasted just two innings and absorbed the loss.Texas starter Randy Boone lasted eight innings and allowed one unearned run off four hits and struck out six Tiger batters. Mizzou put their lone run on the board in the eighth inning when Derek Chambers scored on a single by Trevor Helms.The Tigers dropped two of three in Austin.
