In February, Linas Kleiza told reporters that he would be back for his junior season and possibly his senior season. Over the weekend, Kleiza went back on that promise and declared himself eligible for the NBA Draft.
In a statement released on Saturday, Kleiza said, “I have had a great experience and I have improved as a player and as a person. I will explore professional opportunities while completing the semester at Missouri and maintaining the chance to return to school.”
Kleiza led the Tigers with 16.1 points and 7.6 rebounds per game.
