Missouri Republicans have filed a complaint with the State Ethics Commission, alleging that Democrats used an illegal attack ad against their candidate in the south-central Missouri special Senate election April 5th. Republicans claim phony groups were listed on campaign fliers in violation of state law. Democrat Frank Barnitz of Lake Spring won the election over Republican Bill Hickle of Rolla.
