The Senate has given final approval to an abortion bill. It would allow parents whose underage daughters are taken across state lines for abortions to sue those transporting the minors. Senator John Loudon of Ballwin, the Senate sponsor, says the lack of a parental consent law in Illinois, for example, thwarts Missouri law which requires parents be notified. And, he says that should not be allowed to happen. The bill now goes to the House.
