The Saint Louis Billikens allowed four runs in the first inning and recovered in a 12-7 loss to Indiana St. on Tuesday in Terre Haute. BillikDrew Eder’s sacrifice fly in the top of the first gave SLU a 1-0 lead, their only advantage of the contest. SLU is 4-14 on the season.

Southeast Missouri St. dropped to 13-22 on the season with a 3-2 road loss to Arkansas St. The Redhawks led 2-1 in the six inning when freshman James Clayton singled with the bases loaded to make it 2-1. Arkansas State’s Brad Burkhead drove in two runs in the eighth inning with a triple to give ASU the lead and win.

The SMS Bears fell to Arkansas by a count of 9-4 on Tuesday. Arkansas catcher Brian Walker hit two home runs to help down the bears and drop SMS to 12-22 on the season. SMS catcher Matt Weglarz led the Bears in the loss by driving in four runs.
