A three-run homer by Reid Gorecki lifted the Springfield Cardinals to a 4-1 win over the Wichita Wranglers on Sunday. It was Springfield’s first win in five road games this season. Gorecki and Gabe Johnson each had three hits for Springfield. Cardinal starter Randy Leek improved to 2-0 after giving up one run in eight innings. The victory snapped Springfield’s two-game losing streak.
