The 13th-ranked Missouri baseball team wanted a little revenge on Wednesday night and they got it. MU got the best of Southeast Missouri St. 10-2, a week after the Redhawks topped the Tigers 8-5 in ten innings in Cape Giradeau.

The Tigers got their offense rolling in the second inning with six runs and cruised from there. Junior James Boone cleared the bases with a bases-loaded triple in the inning and increased his RBI total this season to 57. He leads the Big 12 in that department. Second baseman Zane Taylor drove in three with a bases-loaded walk in the second and a two-run triple in the seventh.

Right fielder Eric Bracamonte, who hit the game-winning home run against the Tigers last week, drove in one of two SEMO runs. Pinch hitter Chris Gibson was responsible for the other RBI.

Five Tiger pitchers combined for a five-hitter, as MU won its 19th game in their last 21 tries. Mizzou is 27-6 and SEMO is 12-19.
