Busch Stadium has seen a lot in it’s 39 years. Six World Series, nine playoff series, thousands of regular season baseball games, Cardinal football games and even a couple Rams games. Tonight, it will host its final home baseball opener.

Despite being one of the best home venues in baseball, the Cardinals have are just 20-19 in home openers at Busch Stadium, which will be torn down at the end of the season to make way for the new Busch Stadium.

Red Schoendeinst, Bob Gibson, Tom Pagnozzi, Bob Forsch and Albert Pujols will throw out ceremonial first pitches this afternoon. Bob Gibson and Ozzie Smith will not be able to attend, but Stan Musial will.
