The federal prosecutor for Western Missouri is considering whether to file hate crime charges aginst an 18-year old white man accused of killing a black man in Kansas City earlier this month. State murder charges have been filed agianst Gary Eye. Court records indicate he told a friend he wanted to kill any black person walking along a street in his neighborhood.
