It’s been a relatively mild flu season in Missouri, so far, despite uncertainties about vaccine availability and a reduced number of people getting their shots. The State Health Department’s Brian Quinn says it will be a few more weeks before the Department has firm trends to evaluate things, bue he says flu and flu-related illnesses are down by about one-half at this time, and deaths are down about 25 percent.
