The Big 12 handed out its post-season honors on Monday and the only Missouri Tigers to receive an award was sophomore forward Linas Kleiza, who was named All-Big 12 Honorable Mention. Kleiza, who had his freshman season cut short with an injury, averaged 14.9 points and 7.5 rebounds per contest in the regular season, leading the Tigers in both categories. He has nine double-doubles this season, which ranks 3rd in the Big 12.

Kleiza and the Tigers will be in action on Thursday morning, as they take on Nebraska at 11:30 in the first game of the 2005 Big 12 Tournament. Mizzou enters the game as the eighth seed and the Cornhuskers are the ninth seed. Both teams went 7-9 in the Big 12 this season, but MU won both regular season contests between the two teams. Mizzou is 15-15 overall and NU is 14-13.
