The Missouri Tigers had their worst offensive performance of the season in a 67-49 loss to Iowa St. in Ames Thursday night. Missouri’s touch from the outside was non-existent for the first 30 minutes of the game, as they clanged the first 13 three pointers they shot. Iowa State took a 29-19 advantage at the half and turned up the heat in the second half. The Tigers finished 4-of-22 from the three point line and turned the ball over 22 times. Senior Jason Conley led Mizzou with 14 points, 13 rebounds and four assists. It marked their sixth straight loss at Ames, all under Quin Snyder. The defeat dropped MU down to 14-15 overall and 6-9 in the Big 12. They’ll wrap up the regular season on Sunday at home against KU

The Missouri women fell at home to 17th ranked Kansas State 80-53. The Tigers held Wildcats’ star Kendra Wecker to just five points in the first half and took a 25-23 lead at the half. Wecker wasn’t going to be denied in the second half, however. She exploded for 21 points over the last 20 minutes to finish with 26 on the night. KSU hit 58.5 percent of their shots in the second half to improve to 21-6 overall and 12-4 in the Big 12. The Tigers are 10-17 and 4-12 to wrap up the regular season.
