The University of Missouri officially announced that they will open the 2005 football season at Arrowhead against Arkansas State. This will mark the first time since 1945 that they’ve played a game in Kansas City–it was a 33-12 win over KU. MU is also considering the possibility of playing a game in Arrowhead and in St. Louis every other year if the NCAA approves a permanent 12 game season. Arkansas State students who make the drive on September 3 will get a treat. Tickets will be free for them since the game was originally going to be played at Arkansas State.
