The Missouri Tigers won their fourth straight game with a 63-54 win over Colorado at the Mizzou Arena, but the way things started, a win seemed questionable at best. Despite four of Colorado’s players (which accounted for 61 percent of their offensive production this season) suspended, Mizzou struggled offensively in the first half and trailed 24-18 at the break. Mizzou was 6-of-22 from the floor, hitting just 3-of-14 three pointers. At one point head coach Quin Snyder inserted walk-on player Brian Dailey into the lineup. Dailey started the second half and apparently the message got through to his players. They shot 52 percent from the field in the second half and nailed 5-of13- three’s. Freshman Jason Horton led the Tigers in scoring with 14 points, while Jason Conley added 13. Linas Kleiza had 10 points and ten rebounds. With the win, the Tigers improved to 14-13 on the season and 6-7 in the Big 12. With a win over Texas on Saturday, Missouri will move into a tie for 6th place in the conference.
