The Southeast Missouri State men’s basketball team saw its seven-game winning streak come to an end last night. The Redhawks were held without a field goal over the last 9:33 in their 83-72 loss to Eastern Kentucky. The Redhawks led 65-61 midway through the second half. But the Colonels went on a 12-3 run and never trailed again. Reggie Golson scored a game-high 28 points for Southeast………….The Southeast Missouri State women had their 10-game winning streak snapped in a 66-62 loss to Eastern Kentucky. The Lady Colonels led by as many as 14 points in the first half, and went to the locker room with a 37-24 halftime lead. The Redhawks cut the deficit to two on two separate occasions in the second half, but did not get any closer. Brandi Russia led the Redhawks with 17 points.
