The State Senate has given final approval to a bill that does away with the Administrative Law Judge and Legal Advisors Retirement Plan. That’s the plan that gives employees and commissioners large retirement pensions – even if they only hold their positions for one day. The legislation places all new administrative law judges and all new commissioner positions under the Missouri State Retirement System. They will have to work at least five years to become eligible for pension benefits.
