St. Louis native and bowling legend Dick Weber died Sunday in his home in Florissant. He was 75. Weber won 26 times on the Professional Bowlers Association tour, which is tied for seventh all time. He was also named the national bowler of the year three times (1961, ’63 and ’65). Weber was elected to the American Bowling Congress Hall of Fame in 1970 and was part of the first class selected to the PBA Hall of Fame in 1975. In 1978 he was inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.
