The University of Missouri opened its season with an 8-3 victory over Portland at the Oakland A’s Spring Training Tournament in Phoenix Thursday. Junior college transfer Greg O’Neill was 2-2 with two runs and two RBI’s in his Tiger debut. Mizzou will face Oregon St. Friday afternoon…Southeast Missouri will start the season out with a challenge as they take on top-ranked Tulane in New Orleans in the their season opener Friday.
