The SMS Bears notched their sixth straight win by topping Bradley 80-66 at the Hammons Student Center. Despite the 14-point victory, the game didn’t start as the home crowd would have liked. The Braves jumped out to a 7-0 lead before the Bears kick-started their offense and led 35-29 after the first half. They pushed that lead to 11 points within the first minute of the second half and led by as many as 15. Five Bears finished in double digits with Tyler Chaney leading the way with 17 points. Tamarr Maclin scored 13 points and grabbed a game-high 13 rebounds. Deke Thompson also scored 13, Anthony Shavies had 12 and Blake Ahearn scored 11. Kellen Easley had 8 points and 11 rebounds. With the win the Bears improved to 13-8 overall and 7-6 in the Missouri Valley Conference.
