Governor Matt Blunt has appointed the President of the Missouri Colleges Fund as his Budget Director. Blunt announced his appointment of Larry Schepker during a news conference in his Capitol office. Schepker has a diverse background. He has been with the Colleges Fund since 1990. Prior to that, Schepker worked as Director of Finanacial Development for the Jefferson City Catholic Diocese and as Deputy Director of the Missouri Department of Agriculture. He also served as transition budget director when Senator Kit Bond was Governor in 1980.
