It’s taken seven years and three trials for former Lee’s Summit businessman Theodore White to be found not guilty of sexually abusing his ten year old stepdaughter. The jury was out for only about two hours. Last year, a jury deadlocked 11-1 for acquittal. He was convicted the first time and spent about five years behind bars before a court threw out the verdict because the prosecution did not reveal that White’s ex-wife had an affair with the policeman who investigated the case.
