Missouri’s busiest airport had about half the flights last year that it had in 2003, and fewer of them arrived on time. The federal Transportation Department says 81 percent of Lambert-St. Louis Airport’s flights arrived on time last year, down from 84 percent in 2003. Lambert slipped from the ninth best airport to the 11th best airport in the on-time category.
