If the NHL’s players and owners can’t come to an agreement, you may see one of the most popular members of the St. Louis Blues on the ice very soon Barrett Jackman, who was the NHL’s rookie of the year in 2002-2003, has been practicing with the St. Charles-based Missouri River Otters and could start playing with the team as early as this weekend. The players and owners will meet today in what is considered one final hope to save what’s left of the 2004-2005 season. Fellow Blues teammate Ryan Johnson may also ice up the skates with the Otters.
