A local economic development official wants the State to act quicker when businesses consider locating here. Steven Johnson now works for the St. Louis Regional Chamber and Growth Association, but he has worked in Kansas City as well. He says businesses have grown frustrated with Missouri and left for other states, because they had to wait so long for the State to offer an incentive package. Johnson says Missouri must act more quickly or it will continue to lose jobs to other states.
