St. Louis Symphony musicians are on strike after rejecting the latest contract offer from the Symphony. A concert is scheduled for this week. Symphony officials say they’ll decide today whether to cancel it. Musicians have voted 85 to three to reject a proposal that would have cut their salaries almost $2,000. They’re paid $8,000 to $31,000 less than musicians in places such as New York, Chicago, Dallas, Washington, and Cincinnati.
