Most of Missouri will only be dreaming of a white Christmas this year. Except for the winter storm that dumped so much snow on Southeast Missouri, the rest of the state is snow-free. Ryan Cutter with the National Weather Service in Kansas City says all of the state will get bitterly cold weather through Christmas Day, preserving the snow in southeast Missouri and leaving the rest of the state brown. And, Cutter says don’t expect it to get any whiter for the rest of the kids’ holiday break from school. Cutter says the rest of the winter is expected to be pretty normal with snow, cold, and some warm relief in between.
