Chris Maloney will be the first manager in the history of the new Springfield Cardinals. Maloney was hired and introduced yesterday in Springfield. He was a manager for Cardinal minor league teams from 1988-2001, before taking over the Astros’ Class AAA team in New Orleans. He was fired this fall.
