Back in October, when the State and the nation were first facing a lack of flu vaccine, Governor Bob Holden proclaimed health providers who gave flu shots to anyone not in one of the at-risk categories, would have their names published as punishment. Those in the at-risk categories include children six months to nearly two years old, adults older than 65, the chronically ill, and certain health care workers. Sue Denny with the State Health Department says health officials appreciate the thought, but it’s not that practical. In fact, a spokesman for the Governor admits haven’t had any names turned into Holden’s office nd the Governor is not soliciting any names.
