With just over 7:30 to go, Conley, the team’s only senior, had just four points. His team, which trailed by as many as eight points in the second half, was down by five, before he hit a three-pointer with 7:35 left on the clock. It got Mizzou to within two points of the Racers. Conley scored seven points in a 2:58 period and Mizzou trailed by just one after he dunked and hit a free throw. Jimmy McKinney’s three-pointer gave Missouri a two-point lead with 4:47 to go and the Tigers never trailed again. McKinney led the Tigers with 12 points, Conley had 11 and Thomas Gardner pitched in 10. The Tigers improved their record to 3-3 and are off until Saturday when they host Oakland University.
