The man taking over as Missouri’s Commissioner of Higher Education hopes to hit the ground running when he moves into his new post in January. Gregory Fitch, who comes here after serving as President of the Utah College of Applied Technology, says the key issue facing higher education is to make it more affordable. Fitch also wants to work on proposals involving access to higher education – particularly for minority students. Fitch moves into his new job on January 3rd.
