The Missouri basketball team turned in another poor performance on Tuesday night, losing to Creighton 78-54 in the semifinals of the Guardians Classic. The Tigers shot just 32 percent from the floor, and hit just four-of-19 three-pointers. Linas Kleiza led Missouri with 12 points. Nate Funk paced the Blue Jays with 21 points. In the other semifinal game, Ohio State beat Houston 78-61. So Missouri and Houston will meet in the third-place game. It will be the second meeting between the two teams in a week. Missouri beat Houston last Tuesday in the second round of the tournament. Mizzou and Houston tip off at 5:30 tonight at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City. Creighton and Ohio State meet at 8:00 in the title game.
