Many high school football teams from across the state will start their quest for a state championship as the playoffs begin with 32 games Wednesday night – with more first-round action on Friday and Saturday. Rick Kindhart with the State High School Activities Association says there has been a frenzy that has built all season long for many of the players and fans. But Kindhart says the fans need to keep in mind the games are about the players’ performances on the field and the hard work and commitment made over the season. He urges the fans to exercise sportsmanship that would make those players proud to have the fans they do.
