Former St. Louis Blues hockey player Mike Danton is going to prison for his role in a plot to kill his agent. Danton has been sentenced by a judge in East St. Louis, Illinois, to 7-and-a-half years behind bars and an $850 fine. The 24-year-old Danton pleaded guilty, in July, to conspiracy to hire a hitman to kill his agent, David Frost. In September, a federal jury acquitted Katie Wolfmeyer of Florissant – who had had a relationship with Danton – of charges she helped Danton in the plot.
