As the NHL lockout continues scheduled games are falling by the wayside with no end in sight. The latest casualty of the labor dispute is now the All-Star Game. The NHL announced that the game—which was scheduled for February 13 in Atlanta—will be cancelled. The negotiations to get the 2004-2005 season back on track have, by all accounts, come to a complete stand-still. The NHL doesn’t want to even return to the bargaining table unless the NHLPA agrees to talk salary cap. The players have stated that they will not endorse any salary cap.
