A couple of weeks ago the Rams made believers out of many doubters, when they bounced back from a 17-point deficit in the fourth quarter against the Seahawks to win 33-27 in overtime. St. Louis stared another 17-point deficit in the face on Sunday, but lost 31-14. On Sunday they trailed the Dolphins by 17 in the fourth quarter and cut that lead to ten points when Marc Bulger hit Shaun McDonald for a 15-yard touchdown strike to cut Miami’s lead to 24-14. But on the next possession the Dolphins needed just three plays to get the lead back to 17—Chris Chambers caught a 71-yard pass from Jay Fiedler on the third play of the drive. That was the final score of the game. With the loss, the Rams are 4-3 on the season, but still have a half-game lead over the Seahawks in the NFC West. St. Louis has a bye this week.
