Greene County officials say a couple of guys running an Internet sex sting have been arrested in a police sting. Two men from Republic are in jail. Investigators say they posed as 14-year-old girls in Internet chat rooms, luring people to meeting places and then robbed them. Springfield police got a tip about the goings-on, contacted authorities in Republic and then pretended to be potential customers. When the meeting took place in Greene County, police were waiting.
