The Cardinals now know who they’ll face in the National League Championship Series. The Astros pounded the Braves 12-3 on Monday night in Atlanta to take their Division Series 3-2. Former Royals centerfielder Carlos Beltran led the charge for Houston wit ha 4-for5 performance with two homers and five RBI’s. Game 1 of the NLCS is set for Wednesday at 7PM in St. Louis. Woody Williams, who pitched Game 1 of the Division Series against the Dodgers, will get the start for St. Louis. The Astros will send Pete Munro, who was 4-7 this season. The Cardinals were 8-10 against Houston this year, and dropped five of the last six match ups against them.
