The University of Missouri curators have confirmed Brady Deaton as the new Chancellor of the school’s main campus in Columbia. University system president Elson Floyd had recommended Deaton for the job last Friday. Deaton has been with the school for 15 years as a professor of agricultural economics and served as the interim director since a month ago when former chancellor Richard Wallace retired.
