The Royals keep adding to their franchise-record loss total. Kansas City lost for the 102nd time on Thursday, a 9-2 defeat at the hands of the Chicago White Sox. After giving up two runs in the second inning, White Sox starter Mark Buehrle settled down and retired 19 straight Royals. Buehrle finished with a complete-game four-hitter. He also matched a season high with eight strikeouts. Buehrle finishes the year with a record of 16-10. Aaron Rowand hit a three-run homer as part of a five-run eighth inning. The Royals record now stands at 57-102 with three games left in the season.
