The gambling boats keep raking it in. The Missouri Gaming Commission reports casino revenue statewide increased about 8-percent from last year. Total revenue for the fiscal year that ended June 30th was $1.4-Billion. The number of visitors to casinos rose five percent. State and local gambling tax revenue was $281-Million, up from $261-Million a year earlier. St. Louis-area casinos did the best, with revenue up 10-percent. Kansas City-area casinos posted a 6-percent increase. Revenue at the smaller casinos grew by three percent.
