The Royals lost to the White Sox 5-1 on Sunday, repeating their performance on Saturday, when they also lost 5-1. Kansas City managed just five hits in the loss and their only run was the result of Calvin Pickering’s solo home run in the fifth inning. Brian Anderson allowed all five Chicago runs and suffered his 12th loss of the season. The Royals wrap up the final week of the season with a three-game home stand against the Indians and a four-game set against the White Sox. The Royals will have to go 6-1 in the final week to avoid a 100-loss season.
