An Islamic charity with an office in Springfield is beingshut down by the United States Department of the Treasury. A departmentspokesman says the action against Al-Haramain came after allegationssurfaced that it funneled money to terrorists, including Osama Bin Laden.The action blocks any property or assets found in the US and prohibitsAmericans from doing business with the charity.
