Don’t blame Royals pitcher Jimmy Serrano if he asks outfielder Dee Brown for his autograph. Browns two homer runs and four RBI’s helped give the Royals and Serrano a 6-2 win over the Tigers Tuesday. Brown drove in a run with a ground ball in the fifth inning to get the Royals on the board, cutting Detroit’s lead to 2-1. Ruben Gotay tied it up later in the inning with an RBI single. In the seventh Calvin Pickering broke the 2-2 tie with an RBI single. Brown struck again with a two run homer to cap a three-run rally. Brown blasted a solo homer in the ninth for insurance. Serrano pitched three innings in relief of Brian Anderson to get the win.
