Thanks to Mother Nature, the Royals will play one less home game this season. Thursday night’s contest between the Royals and Seattle Mariners was rained out. The game has been rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Aug. 28 in Seattle. This trip was Seattle’s lone visit to Kansas City this season, and the teams had no common off days. The Royals begin a three-game series with Texas on Friday night at Kauffman Stadium.
