The Royals made history in Oakland on Friday, of the good variety. For the first time in franchise history, the Royals belted two grand slams in the same game. Abraham Nunez broke a scoreless tie with a sixth-inning blast. Rookie John Buck hit his first career grand slam in the eighth. Joe Randa added a two-run homer as the Royals beat the A’s 10-3. Pitcher Mike Wood picked up his second win of the season. The Royals hadn’t beaten Oakland since an 11-6 win in May 2003.
