The Rams got their worst news of the summer on Thursday, when defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy went down with a broken foot. Kennedy was the Rams first pick in the 2003 draft with the 12th pick. Kennedy is expected to have surgery on the foot today, which is expected to cost him three months. If that’s the case he wouldn’t return until the 10th or 11th game of the season and doctors think it would take another few weeks for Kennedy to be in game shape.
